The Traditional Techniques of GreenStone Natural Health
At GreenStone Natural Health I use therapeutic
modalities with centuries-old roots in the East. Having recently gained
acceptance and popularity in the West, these holistic therapies are an
ideal way to relieve physical, mental and emotional symptoms related to
illness, injury and stress.
During each session I draw from a combination of techniques to help release pain,
stress and discomfort while supporting the body's natural ability to heal
and balance. I have the knowledge and experience to properly promote
your body's self healing properties and offer many holistic therapy
techniques in Maine and New Hampshire including;
-
Acupressure - CranioSacral Therapy - SomatoEmotional Release -
Reiki - Emotional Freedom Techniques/EFT - Integrated Energy
Therapy - Quantum Touch - Zero Balancing
Acupressure and Emotional Freedom Techniques use gentle touch on
specific points to stimulate and balance the flow of energy or Qi along
the body's natural pathways (called "meridians").
CranioSacral
Therapy, SomatoEmotional Release and Zero Balancing techniques use
gentle touch to detect physical restrictions and stress throughout the
body and dissipate their negative efforts.
Reiki restores and
balances the body's energy, supporting our natural ability to heal. The
related techniques of Integrated Energy Therapy (IET) and Quantum Touch
further support the release of limiting old energy patterns in favor of
balanced, empowering ones.
In a safe, comforting environment I
apply alternative therapeutic treatments with a light touch on a
client's fully-clothed body. In addition to encouraging my clients to
use natural healing techniques to realize their self healing capacities.
I also often work collaboratively with conventional medical providers
and other alternative therapists.
