Greenstone Natural Health

About Lynn

I am a former management consultant with extensive experience in both for-profit and non-profit organizations. My interest in natural energy healing came about after an injury to my lower back. When progress slowed in regaining my former flexibility, I followed the suggestion of a relative to try complementary healthcare as an adjunct to standard medical treatment. The effectiveness of these gentle techniques not only resolved my personal discomfort, but also spurred my own training as a Reiki Master so that I could offer its benefits to others.

In the subsequent years, I have also become a Certified Acupressure Practitioner, an Integrated Energy Therapy Master-Teacher, and have trained in CranioSacral Therapy and related modalities.

I am a graduate of Colby College with a Masters degree in Counseling from the University of Southern Maine.

About GreenStone

The native Maori people of New Zealand have for centuries fashioned greenstone (or pounamu) into fishhooks as a talisman of peace, prosperity, good health and safe travel over water. My son Ryan brought me a greenstone fishhook to wear on a trip to Alaska. It remains a touchstone of inspiration, connection and strength in my work and life.

Fees

My standard charge for a one-hour session is $80.

What's a session with me like?

Expect an hour of quiet and a light touch as I tune into your body, choose the right techniques to work with, and address the issues you've identified. With the enhanced energy flow, you may feel such sensations as tingling, a warm glow, small releases, or relaxation. All work is performed while you are fully clothed.

What not to expect

While holistic modalities and bodywork can be used successfully alone or in conjunction with conventional medicine, they are not a substitute for diagnosis and treatment by a medical doctor. Sessions will not diagnose, heal or prescribe therapies for specific illnesses.
